It’s not Annie James, as you might have expected. 😉 (but if you keep scrolling, you’ll find out how we got our name)!
I’m a wife, a mama, a daughter, a friend. I’m also a seasoned neonatal nurse practitioner. I’m passionate about physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being and I know that what I put on my body is as important as what goes in my body.
Thirteen years ago, I created the first Annie James product, the original facial cleanser. I’ve used this oil-based cleanser ever since because it’s simple, affordable and effective. After years of creating my own products and perfecting my skincare routine, I decided to share my products with the world! Today, I love showing how oil-based skincare can simplify your skincare, keep your skin looking healthy and vibrant, while also being an affordable, natural alternative.

A native to Central Virginia, Kenzie works remotely and aids the Annie James team in all things digital media marketing and sales: content strategy, social media, email marketing, SEO, you name it.
Working at Annie James has been a beautiful blend of values and workplace aligning. She loves supporting small businesses and is a huge advocate for healthy living and clean beauty and cosmetic products.
She loves burying herself in a good book with an iced coffee in hand, lifting heavy weights with her 5am CrossFit class, and spending time with her sweet husband and two, rambunctious toddlers.

Who is Annie James?

The million dollar question!
The name Annie James originates from Katie’s family roots. Her grandmother was one of five sisters. During her childhood, she saw four of those women often and they were constants in her life. No frills, just salt-of-the-earth, dependable women. They worked hard and enjoyed their families. They were consistent and she found comfort in knowing what to expect from them.
The name Annie James is a tribute to those women. It is a combination of their names and, as such, a tribute to their influence in Katie’s life.
